CHC30113 – Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

When you gain this qualification, you will be able to work (under direct supervision or autonomously) as: an Early Childhood Educator, Playgroup Supervisor, Family Daycare Worker, Childhood Educator, OSHC Assistant, Recreation Assistant, Nanny and Mobile Assistant. You can work in a range of early childhood education settings, meeting the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard. You will be able to implement an approved learning framework, and support children’s wellbeing, learning and development.

CHC50113 – Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care

Once you gain this qualification, you can be responsible for designing and implementing curriculum in early childhood education and care services. You will know how to implement an approved learning framework within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard. You may have responsibility for supervision of volunteers or other staff.

CHC30213 – Certificate III in Educational Support

When you gain this qualification, you can work as: an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Education Worker, Education Assistant and Education Assistant (special needs), Education Support Worker, Home Tutor, Homeland Teaching Assistant, Indigenous Language and Cultural Teaching Assistant, Language Worker, Literacy Worker, Support Worker (working with children with disabilities), Teacher Aide and Teacher Assistant. You will be able to work in public and independent school and community education settings that provide assistance and support to teachers and students under broad-based supervision. Some jurisdictions may require specialist skill development and supervision by qualified teachers to address specific job roles; and some job roles may you to complete work external to the immediate education environment (eg in Aboriginal and /or Torres Strait Islander communities).

CHC50213 – Diploma of School Age Education and Care

When you gain this qualification, you will be able to be employed as: Director, Group Coordinator, Group Leader, Outside School Hours Care Coordinator, Outside School Hours Care Worker, Program Leader, Service Director, Service Manager, Team Leader and Vacation Care Coordinator. This qualification will give you the skills to be responsible for the day-to-day running of a before- and after-school care and/or vacation care service, including planning, implementing and managing programs which address regulatory and duty-of-care requirements. You may have responsibility for the supervision of volunteers and or other staff.

CHC40213 Certificate IV in Education Support

When you gain this qualification, you will be able to work (under direct supervision or autonomously) as:
Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander education worker, Education assistant, Education assistant (special needs), Education support worker, Home Tutor, Homeland teaching assistant, Indigenous language and cultural teaching assistant, Language worker, Literacy worker, Support worker (working with children with disabilities), Teacher aide, and Teacher assistant.
